Dewi Fortuna Anwar.

Dr Dewi Fortuna Anwar was Assistant Minister/State Secretary for Foreign Affairs in Jakarta, Indonesia. She was also a senior researcher at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) and at the Centre for Information and Development Studies (CIDES).

She obtained her PhD from Monash University, Australia, in 1990 with a thesis titled "ASEAN as an aspect of Indonesian Foreign Policy". Her BA and MA were obtained from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London in 1981 and 1982 respectively. Dr Anwar is married with two children. She is currently working at the Habibie Institute, a private think-tank of former President Habibie.
