Ignatius Ts'ao Ignatius Ts’ao received his higher education in Europe (Spain, France, and Switzerland). He obtained his doctor's degree at the Faculty of Law, University of Madrid in 1961 and, in the subsequent year, went to the United States to teach politics and jurisprudence until his retirement (1995). He has specialized in comparative politico-legal ideas and institutions. Professor Ts’ao has founded the journal of Asian Thought and Society: An International Review and served as its editor-in-Chief. Then, he has joined the staff of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (University of Macau 1997) and was Director, Centre on Contemporary China in 1998. | |||
