Oh Hogen Born on September 19, 1942, Oh Hogen is an economist who graduated from Pace University (New York) in 1967. He starts his career as a teaching Assistant at Pace University from 1967 to 1971. From 1971 to 1976, he is Assistant Professor, Economics, at Hanyang University and lecturer at Korea University and Sungkyunkwan. In 1976, he joins Korea Merchant Banking Corporation where he becomes Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 1986. He leaves the bank in 1990 to pursue other interests. In 1992, he becomes Chairman of Younglim Cardinal Publishers, a position he is still holding. In 1998, he is appointed Executive Chairman at the Corporate Restructuring Committee. He was replaced in 2001. | |||
