Chang Chun-hsiung Chang Chun-hsiung was born in 1938 in Chiaty city, Taiwan. He graduated from the National Taiwan University in Laws. In 1980, Mr Chang was a defense lawyer in the military trial following the Kaohsiung Incident of 1979. From 1983 to 1993, he was a member of the Legislative Yuan; Executive Director Convenor of the DPP caucus in the Legislative Yuan. Mr Chang is a Member of the Central Standing Committee of the DPP. In 2000, he was the General Manager of Chen Shui-bian’s 2000 Presidential campaign and Secretary-General of the Office of the President before being appointed Prime Minister in October 2000. interview (Summer 2001) | |||
