M. Shahid Alam Shahid Alam received his education in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Canada, before moving to United States in 1987 where he is Professor of Economics at Northeastern University. His recent book, Poverty from the Wealth of Nations was published by Palgrave (2000). | |||
